Cave Story+ - Amazing music, solid design, great story. Originally came out in 2004 as a solo developed free game and is just an absolute gem. Game play is a Metroidvania, and some of the decisions you make will affect the outcome of the game at the end (You just might not realize you made the decision)

Choo-Choo Charles - Horror game, you have to survive while dealing with a train spider thing. Game is fairly short 2-3 hours, but that felt about right for the gameplay loop. Things didn't have a chance to get stale because of the length. The game also didn't take itself too seriously and is acutally pretty casual friendly. I felt it was worth the 20 bucks but if you are slightly on the fence just wait for a sale and it is easily worth whatever price it would end up at.

Code Vein - It's a bit like a faster pace Dark Souls with an anime style and storyline. Great music, great story telling, I probably would have been super frustrated with this game but I got carried through by a friend who had an end game character.

Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars - Interesting game, cool units, returns to the story telling style I love C&C for. But I ran into a mission I didn’t have the patience for on the GDI side and a mission that was bugged in a way that made the difficulty spike on the NOD side. So I decided we are going to leave this one unfinished. If you want to pick it up to play with friends I can highly recommend it for that purpose, the game balance seems pretty great there.

Command and Conquer Remastered Collection - I love the Command and Conquer series, it is one of the first RTS games I had much experience with. These older games are quite a bit harder than the newer stuff, but they still run better than they used to with the Remaster. The collection also has a bunch of quality of life additions and some neat features for fans of the franchise. Hokey story, great music, solid gameplay.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 - Quite the nostalgia trip for me, as this was the Command and Conquer game I have played the most. Ended up finishing the core campaign but got frustrated with the Yuri’s revenge campaign. Overall great design, I just have a rough time with RTS games of this nature. Once again amazing sound track, and some amazing acting in the FMVs, also a lot of quotable unit lines.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 - This game is all over the place in difficulty and while still entertaining at moments has lost a lot of what interests me in the previous entries of the game. Be warned that there will be objectives that give you very little time to react and will just instantly make you fail.

Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun - One of the classic RTS games. Solid sound track, cool unit and structure designs, some revolutionary game design choices. Oh, and a difficulty curve that beat me. I decided to call it on this game simply because I was getting stuck midway through the GDI campaign. I may revisit it and try to beat it. If I am able to progress it I will update the VOD playlist to reflect that.

Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy- The Crash Bandicoot games hold a special place since I grew up playing them a lot. There were some changes made to the feel of the game, characters behave slightly differently, certain things in the original games you could do exist no longer etc. A lot of things that a long time fan would notice but a new player to the franchise wouldn't even know. The game still plays exactly as I remember and in these kinds of games honestly all you need is some good humor and solid gameplay and it has both in spades.

Cult of the Lamb - Rogue-lite with adorable art style, the gameplay is actually really well tuned and there is even a management aspect with the cult. Solid music. Overall the design was fantastic, and the game is great for streamers with an active community as there is an integration that lets chat effect the game and design one of the cultists.
